“Flu Season” Protocol. 🤒
If you watch Parks and Rec, you know the episode.
Leslie Knope has the flu. She is delirious. She is hallucinating. 😂
But the second she steps up to the podium to give her speech, she snaps into focus, delivers a flawless presentation, and then immediately collapses back into a blanket burrito.
That was me yesterday.
I’ve been battling a cold this week. The kind that makes you want to cancel everything and hide under a duvet.
But sometimes, you have to just find a way to get through the day. My calendar is so full that if I kept rescheduling things, my life would look very complicated next week and the week after.
So, I deployed the Founder Survival Kit:
- DayQuil.
- Concealer.
- Adrenaline.
- LOTS of Ibuprofen
- Channelling my inner “Knope.”
I rallied. I showed up. And honestly? The conversations I had were so energizing that I forgot I was sick…for the most part.
We talk a lot about “Rest” in the mental health space (and trust me, I am resting now!). But we also need to celebrate Resilience. 🙌
There is a specific kind of magic in finding that extra gear when you think the tank is empty. It reminds you how much you actually believe in what you are building.
To everyone else powering through this week on sheer will and cold medicine: You are a glorious female warrior. (Or male warrior. IYKYK 😉). 💚
Money should work with your brain.
Pistachio Pay is being built to reduce the mental load of money management for neurodivergent adults.
