As Far as My Capacity Could Take Me

I recently watched a short video about the making of Bohemian Rhapsody.

What surprised me most wasn’t the success of the song. It was something Freddie Mercury said about creating it.

“It was as far as my limited capacity could take me.”

Think about that.

One of the greatest rock songs ever written was created by someone simply pushing himself as far as he knew how to go.

Not because he knew it would become legendary.

Not because he knew millions of people would still be listening decades later.

Because he took his talent, his creativity, and his vision to the edge of what he was capable of producing at that moment.

Building a startup often feels exactly like that.

At Pistachio Pay, we’re building something that doesn’t exist for our community yet. Trauma-informed financial automation designed specifically for neurodivergent minds.

Some days I feel like I’m operating at the edge of my own capacity.

But maybe that’s the point.

Maybe the best work we’re capable of creating lives on the other side of that discomfort.

Not because we’re extraordinary.

Because we’re willing to keep pushing.

One step further.

One iteration further.

One lesson further.

That is where great things are built.

Money should work with your brain.

Pistachio Pay is being built to reduce the mental load of money management for neurodivergent adults.
