Over the weekend, I went to see Spider-Man: Brand New Day, and as always, my brain immediately went to….the financial system! 😂
My takeaway was that the entire movie is about identity and change. It asks a question I can’t stop thinking about: How do you navigate intense, chaotic evolution while fighting to hold on to exactly who you are? How do you become the evolved version of yourself without losing your soul?
That is the exact tension we are navigating right now in fintech.
The financial industry is evolving at light speed. But in the rush to build the next shiny tool or the fastest algorithm, the system keeps leaving the exact same vulnerable people behind.
At Pistachio Pay, we are building an evolved version of finance. But we refuse to lose the heart of what we are doing. We believe that a truly advanced financial system is not just faster or more automated. A truly advanced system is adaptive, humane, and actually built to include brains that are wired differently.
Innovation and empathy do not have to be mutually exclusive.
You can evolve the machine while keeping the humanity intact.
Money should work with your brain.
Pistachio Pay is being built to reduce the mental load of money management for neurodivergent adults.
